Here is a personal project to mimic a range of real-life objects or scenes in 2010. From a Courgette to a rose garden! All these objects would be placed into Unreal Engine for in-game use. This is much harder than you expect it to be when you have the photo to compare to.
The Desert Road Scene was a task set by a games company but I never actually applied with it. This would be for a racing game.
There's a nice rose garden near me. I decided to give myself the challenge of recreating it as close as I can for in-game use. This is much more challenging when you want to copy the real-life scene. Its easy for the eyes to find problems (that Uncanny Alley thing)
